Law enforcement agencies will check these messages, told RIA Novosti Ambassador for special assignments of the Russian foreign Ministry Vladimir Churov. If the facts of repeated voting are confirmed, under the Criminal code for it could face a large fine or up to four years in prison, said Deputy Chairman of the Central electoral Commission Nikolay Bulaev.

"For voting more than two times there is a criminal liability under part 2 of article 142.2 of the criminal code. In jail it is, of course, put no one will, but the penalty can assign up to 300 thousand rubles," - said RIA Novosti Postanak.

Guilty under this article may be sentenced to a fine in the amount from 100 thousand to 300 thousand rubles or the salary or other income of the convicted person for a period of one year to two years, or hard labor for a term up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term.
