Vorkutaugol filed a lawsuit against the Federal Agency for state almost a billion rubles
The Moscow arbitration court has registered a claim of the coal company Vorkutaugol, part of Severstal, billionaire Alexey Mordashov, for the recovery of approximately 978 million rubles from the Federal Agency for state reserves (Rosrezerv) and its subordinate fgbi "Reserve Supply".
As follows from the information in the files of arbitration cases, the suit was brought to court on Monday and production is not yet adopted, the basis of the claim in the card business is not currently reported.
Earlier on Monday it became known that the Moscow arbitration court has left without consideration filed in April a lawsuit of JSC "Vorkutaugol" to the Reserve and the "Reserve Supply" in the amount of 1.1 billion rubles. The reasons for this decision are not yet known, published the operative part of the court ruling.
Court on June 18 refused to consider the merits of the claim itself "Severstal" to the same co-defendants to 3.2 billion rubles for violation of the plaintiff pre-trial settlement of the dispute. The claim was sent to defendants on April 17, and the lawsuit was filed in the court on April 22, prior to the expiration of the statutory thirty-day period. Since the abandonment of the claim without consideration does not preclude re-filing a claim after elimination of violations, "Severstal" on June 22 filed a new lawsuit about the same amount. In April Severstal filed another major lawsuit against the Reserve and the "Reserve Supply" in the amount of more than 1.6 billion, its examination proceeds.
"Vorkutaugol" - one of the largest coal companies of Russia, is the mining division of Severstal. The company operates on the territory of the Pechora coal basin. The main consumer product is the Cherepovets steel mill, part of Severstal.
"Severstal" - one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies c major assets in Russia and a small number of enterprises abroad. The main beneficiary of the company is Alexey Mordashov (77,03% of the shares). The company employs about 50 thousand people. By the end of 2019 Severstal reduced steel production by 2% to 11,847 million tons.
The Federal Agency for state reserves manages the reserves designed to ensure the mobilization needs, urgent works at liquidation of emergency situations, humanitarian relief and similar purposes.
