Zakharova recalled voting about "the fantastic attraction of greed"

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova have compared the attempts of some citizens to vote on amendments to the Constitution several times with the "fantastic ride of greed," and hinted at "prosaic conclusion".

Previously a resident of Israel, a citizen of the Russian Federation Yael Ilinski reported in Facebook that was able to vote three times: in electronic form, as well as the Embassy of the Russian Federation and tel Aviv and the Consulate in Haifa. Besides, according to her, the newsletter has given even her minor daughter.

According to the administrative code, receiving in the election Commission of ballots for voting more than once in the course of one and the same vote in the absence of grounds for bringing to criminal liability punishable by a fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles.

A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed because of the epidemic of coronavirus in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a new date for voting on 1 July. Because of the need to take into account the epidemiological situation and the security of the population, it was decided that the Russians will be able to vote from 25 June to 1 July.
