China has made the United States a protest due to the pressure on Chinese companies

Beijing protests US from unfounded pressure on Chinese enterprises and urged Washington to stop this practice, told RIA Novosti press-service of the foreign Ministry of China amid reports about the possible introduction of sanctions against several Chinese companies.

Previously, the Agency Reuters referring to his document said that the Pentagon has compiled a list of PRC companies, against which may be imposed new American sanctions. According to the Agency, the U.S. Department of defense has prepared a list of 20 Chinese companies, which as consider in Washington, "are controlled or owned by the people's liberation army of China." It is reported that this list in particular includes telecommunications companies Huawei and Hikvision, as well as mobile operators China Mobile and China Telecom.

"Regarding the undue pressure that the U.S. side has on Chinese enterprises, we have repeatedly expressed our position. I would like to stress once again that the United States again and again generalize the concept of national security, abusing state power and put pressure on individual Chinese companies, all of this is contrary to the principles of market economy, which the United States has always praised. China expresses in relation to this strong protest", - said the press service of the Ministry.

The Chinese foreign Ministry stressed that "Beijing urges US to stop ungrounded pressure on Chinese companies and to ensure fair, equitable and non-discriminatory conditions for the normal operation of Chinese companies in the United States."
