"Forty times forty" will hold in Moscow pickets near the embassies of the US and Britain

Orthodox movement "forty times Forty" will hold on Sunday, pickets at the embassies of the US and the UK, told RIA Novosti in motion.

Pickets will be held under the slogan "Russia has its own values." Participants will stand with a poster, depicted on the icon "the Cathedral of all Saints resplendent in the Russian land".

"It all started with the fact that on June 25, the U.S. Embassy, and on June 27 the British Embassy hung the flag of the LGBT community. Movement "forty times Forty" tied this demarche of the two diplomatic missions so that in these days began a nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of Russia, one of which defines marriage as a Union between a man and a woman, which contradicts the concept of state policy of the USA and the UK to promote LGBT values in the world," - said in the motion.

Orthodox activists said that under Russian law, the promotion of homosexuality among minors is prohibited, "and the LGBT flags of the embassies of the US and the UK were hung so that they could see, including those citizens who fall under this age category and it is illegal and shows disrespect for the American and English diplomats to the laws of the host country."
