The head of Kalmykia voted for amendments to the Constitution
The head of Kalmykia Batu Hasikov announced on his page in "Vkontakte", which took part in the nationwide voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
A nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed because of the epidemic of coronavirus in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a new date for voting on 1 July. Because of the need to take into account the epidemiological situation and the security of the population, it was decided that the Russians will be able to vote all week from 25 June to 1 July.
"I've done my civic duty in his home town of Lagan. Countrymen, make your choice and you" - said Hasikov.
He noted that these days the future of the country and Kalmykia, and every vote is a guarantee that Russia will maintain "its credibility and independence.
