The Chinese Embassy urged the US to lift visa restrictions
The Chinese Embassy in the United States called visa restrictions against Chinese officials imposed by Washington because of Hong Kong, the wrong decision and called to cancel it.
Earlier Friday, U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo reported that the U.S. imposed visa restrictions against officials of the Communist party of China for "undermining the autonomy of Hong Kong and the violation of human rights".
US threatens China with sanctions, accusing him of oppression of Uighurs and other groups of Muslims, human rights violations, including in Tibet and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, and stating that Parliament developed by the PRC law on protection of Hong Kong is aimed at the elimination of its high autonomy. The Chinese authorities denied all the accusations and criticism, calling not to interfere in the purely internal Affairs of the country.
Beijing the bill provides for the prohibition of subversive and separatist activities. He suggests a ban on any kind of incitement aimed at the overthrow of the Central government, as well as terrorism and external interference.
