Moskalkova has asked the CEC to help Vyshinsky to vote online
The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova requests of the CEC Chairperson Ella Pamfilova, assist the Executive Director MIA "Russia today" Kirill Vyshinsky voting on amendments to the Constitution remotely, in which he had previously denied, informed RIA Novosti the press service.
Earlier, Executive Director of MIA "Russia today" Kirill Vyshinsky said at a briefing in the Public chamber of the Russian Federation that has refused to vote on amendments to the Constitution electronically.
As explained by the press service of the Ombudsman, the refusal of registration of Vyshinsky came after 21 June (last day of submission of application for remote voting). Therefore, he has failed once again to submit documents.
"Dear Ella! I urge you to assist in the realization of the right to participate in the nationwide vote on the issue of approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation member of the Council for human rights of the Russian Federation on development of civil society and human rights, Executive Director of the news Agency "Russia today" K. V. Vyshinsky, who, for objective reasons, missed the registration period for the procedure of remote voting and voting on the program "mobile voter," reads the document available to the RIA Novosti.
Voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation began across the country on June 25, it will last until 1 July. Online voting, which will be able to participate only residents of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region, will be held from 25 to 30 June.
