Part of the Donbass can stay without water because of an accident

The inhabitants of the Kiev-controlled town of Lysychansk, Luhansk region posted on the official Internet representation of the President of Ukraine a petition asking Vladimir Zelensky to deal with the problem at the mine "Novodruzheskaya" in the Donbass, where no water can remain the whole area, including part of the territory of the self-proclaimed LNR.

Controlled by the Kyiv territory there are two water supply sources LC: Peter pumping station and the Western filter plant. The main volume of water LC gets Autonomous from Kiev.

"Dear Vladimir! We, the residents of Lysychansk, appeal to You with a request to influence the management of the company "lisichanskugol", which is idle and not taking any measures to eliminate the catastrophic consequences of the mine "Novodruzheskaya", where after the failure of the pump, pumping of underground water has been flooding," reads the petition text.

It is clarified that this mine is in the vicinity of the Seversky Donets river, "which is a waterway of Donbass and supplying drinking water for the entire Lugansk region."

"In case of contact with mine water in the river, the whole region will be on the verge of ecological disaster. Due to the negligence of the management of "lisichanskugol" threatened the lives of millions of people, and the flora and fauna of the Luhansk region.
