"We will discuss the US presence in Europe in light of plans to reduce the American presence in Germany. I am pleased that the United States consult with its allies, affirming that the U.S. commitment to security in Europe remains unshakable," – said Stoltenberg.
He also noted that the US presence in Europe is important for the European allies and America itself. "The US presence is important both for Europe and for the United States, because only by working together can we withstand global threats", - said the NATO Secretary General.
