In Nizhny Novgorod lit up the Gorky Literary Museum
The fire on the area of 150 square meters arose in the Literary Museum of Gorky in Nizhny Novgorod, the press service of EMERCOM in Nizhny Novgorod region.
The message on a fire in the building which is on the restoration of the Gorky Literary Museum on ulitsa Minina arrived Thursday at 17.20.
"There are fires on the second floor of the building. The fire area is 150 square meters. There is a threat of spreading to other parts of the building. Information on victims aren't present", - informs regional management of the Ministry.
Literary Museum of A. M. Gorky is situated in a former merchant's house in the Central historical part of Nizhny Novgorod. The Literary exposition of the Museum tells about the cultural and literary life in Nizhny Novgorod in the late 19th-early 20th century. Along with materials about Maxim Gorky at the Museum presents materials about the life and work of writers of Pavel Melnikov-Pechersky and Vladimir Korolenko, photographers, artists Andrey Karelin and Maxim Dmitriev, musician Vasily Villana.
