Saratov oblast in the next few days will be released on the second phase of the lifting of restrictions on the coronavirus, said Thursday the Vice-Governor Alexander Strelyukhin.

Authorities in the region to 30 June banned all public activities, cafes, restaurants, cultural and physical education, ordered everyone to wear masks in public places. He noted that during the period of restrictive measures in the area deployed more infectious beds, provide equipment, medicines and means of protection of the facility.

"Currently, the testing for population COVID are 15 laboratories diagnostic PCR. This allows to make predictions for the future for the gradual exit of restrictive measures", - said Vice-Governor.

Earlier, the Deputy head of the regional Department of Rospotrebnadzor Nadezhda Matveeva said that by June 18 Saratov oblast did not answer one of the three criteria for entering the second phase of the lifting of restrictions is the coefficient of infection, which was at around 1 or just above 1, while for easing of restrictive measures required to achieve a steady decrease to 0.8.

In total, the region 5892 laboratory-confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus, died 42 patients, recovered 2922.
