Self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Kosovo refused to negotiate with Serbia
Self-proclaimed Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Avdullah Hoti said that refused to participate in negotiations with the Serbian leadership in the United States on June 27.
The President of the breakaway Republic, Hashim Thaci had earlier cancelled his visit to Washington, where he was to participate in negotiations with Serbia.
The special Prosecutor of international court for crimes in Kosovo (SPO) in the Hague has announced the charges against Hashim Thaci for war crimes in 1998-1999. It was expected that the meeting will take place in Washington between the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo "Prime Minister" of Hoti.
"In connection with the situation in Pristina as the result of the charges, the special Prosecutor's office I forced to return to his country to deal with the situation. I informed the Ambassador (special envoy of the President of the United States in the negotiations of Belgrade and Pristina) Richard Grenell, that will not be able to participate in the meeting on June 27 at the White house," wrote Hoti on Thursday on Twitter.
