The President of Russia Vladimir Putin invited his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko take part in the opening ceremony of the memorial to Soviet soldiers near Rzhev 30 June, reported in Wednesday's state TV channel "Belarus 1".
"As it became known to the news Agency, Russian President Putin invited his Belarusian counterpart to the opening of the memorial to Soviet soldiers near Rzhev. The event will be held on 30 June in the Tver region," - said the leading news release.
In the air it was noted that the initiator of this monumental project became the Union state of Belarus and Russia.
