Peskov commented on the reports about the departure of Lukashenka immediately after the parade
Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov denied in comments to "Vedomosti" reports that the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko flew to Minsk at the end of the Victory parade.
Earlier in mass media appeared information that Lukashenka left Moscow immediately after the military parade and laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier.
According to Peskov, the President of Belarus attended a gala reception in honor of the guests of the Victory parade in the Kremlin.
This year the parade is timed to the 75-anniversary of the Victory, because of the pandemic coronavirus postponed to June 24. In it participated more than 14 thousand soldiers. In addition to Russia, the red square were soldiers of the Armed forces of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
