Dodon noted the involvement of foreign troops in the Victory parade in Moscow
The President of Moldova Igor Dodon considers that the participation of troops from different countries in the parade in Moscow has become a symbol of the Victory over fascism.
In Moscow for the parade this year came the leaders of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Serbia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
"I had the honor to attend the military parade which took place today in Moscow's red square in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war... Welcomed the formal calculations from different countries, who marched through red square, symbolizing the victory of the countries of the former Soviet Union and Europe over fascism", - Dodon wrote on his page in Facebook.
The President said that he felt particularly proud that among them were 75 soldiers from the guard of honor of the National army of Moldova.
"Notice that 23 of them grandfathers fought on the battlefields of the great Patriotic war, so today's participation of our military personnel emphasizes the direct link between generations and reminds us of the importance of preserving the memory of the deeds of our ancestors", - said Igor Dodon.
