In the year of the 75th anniversary of the victory over fascism Russia has demonstrated the strength of national unity in the fight against the pandemic of coronavirus, said the chief doctor of City clinical hospital № 15 named after O. M. Filatov Valery Vechorko.
Earlier in the presidential decree published on the Kremlin website, it was reported that the chief physician of City clinical hospital №15 named after Filatov Valery Vechorko awarded the state prize of the Russian Federation for outstanding achievements in humanitarian activities for 2019.
"I am extremely grateful for the high appreciation of my work, the work of our team.... Obviously, this high state award is the only award of the medical community of Moscow, and the country as a whole," said Vechorko at the ceremony of national awards for outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology, literature and art, and humanitarian activities, charity and human rights protection.
Passed professional way, according to the doctor, helped him to take a new challenge in human history - the pandemic.
"It is a pride for our country, for the Russians, for our people, for healthcare workers who daily selflessly, selflessly, sometimes away from family, continue to fight for the life and health of our patients. And they need an individual approach. And in the year of the 75th anniversary of the great Victory of our people over fascism we were together, as ever, proved the strength of national unity," added Vechorko, thanking President Vladimir Putin for being made in the fight against the pandemic effort on the part of the state.
