Rabbi Beard took part in the Victory parade in Moscow
The President of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia (FJC), Rabbi Alexander Boroda on Wednesday took part in the Victory parade on red square and noted the enormity of the event, impressive in its scale and Patriotic spirit, according to the press service of the FJC.
He also noted that "Jewish citizens of the Soviet Union, like other peoples, fought in the ranks of the red army, fought in partisan detachments".
Wednesday, June 24, on the red square took place the parade dedicated to the 75-th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war. In solemn procession have taken part about 15 thousand servicemen and over 200 pieces of equipment. The parade also passed the 250 cadet from the First Moscow cadet corps, who provided the all-Russian movement "Uname".
