The government's introduction of benefits for students for travel in compartment cars of trains will allow students to comfortably travel around the country, said Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko.

The Russian government previously approved a discount of 50% on tickets in a compartment of double-Decker trains for children older than 10 years.
