More than three thousand signatures put the theatre under the letter to the Minister of culture Olga Lyubimova in defense of the accused in the case, "the Seventh Studio", told RIA Novosti press attache of the theatre "Practice" Maria Nikitin.

Petty-bourgeois court of Moscow on June 22 appointed debate of the parties on the work of Director Kirill Serebrennikov, who is accused of embezzling allocated for the implementation of the project "Platform" of money. It is expected that in the course of the debate, the Prosecutor will call the punishment which considers fair for the defendants.

Theft in the implementation of the project "Platform", according to investigators, organized pieces of silver, together with producers Alexey Malopolski and Yuri Etenim, as well as a former employee of the Ministry of culture Sofia Apfelbaum. Guilty themselves they do not recognize. The project "the Seventh Studio", from the Federal budget were allocated 216 million rubles. When it took over the RF IC, the first examination has estimated the damage at 133 million rubles, the second found that the defendants, on the contrary, had saved the money of the Ministry of culture. The third estimated the damage at 128 million.

In anticipation of the court decision, creative Director of theatres, Directors, actors, critics, educators, musicians and other concerned people put their signatures under the letter to the Minister of culture of the Russian Federation.

The appeal, initiated by the Director Michael Bychkov, cultural figures appeal to withdraw the claim for damages to the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation and thus "contribute to a just resolution of the case". Since the publication of the letters collected more than 3180 signatures.
