Medical institutions and NGOs in the Urals will transfer more than nine tons of PPE

More than 9 tons of personal protective equipment will be transferred to medical institutions and NGOs in the Sverdlovsk region, said on Friday the Department of information policy of the region.

"June 21 will arrive... the party of personal protective equipment with a weight of 9.2 tonnes. Aid directed to the Sverdlovsk region by the Timchenko Foundation, including medical masks, disposable overalls, overshoes, gloves, goggles. They will be transferred to Sverdlovsk doctors, social workers and nonprofit organizations that provide assistance to the most vulnerable groups during a pandemic," reads the message.

The total cost of cargo – more than 45 million rubles, according to authorities.

Within three hours will be unloading. Then personal protective equipment will be sent to companies of Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Berezovsky, said the Department.
