Eurotroika took into account the number of observations of Russia in the resolution of the IAEA on Iran

Eurotroika made qualitative changes to the draft resolution on Iran in IAEA, taking into account Russian comments, but it is very likely that with the adoption of the resolution, the situation is even more complicated, said on Friday Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov.

The IAEA Board of governors on Friday by a majority vote adopted a draft resolution of the EU Troika with (France, Germany, UK) on the inspectors access to two nuclear facilities in Iran.

"We noticed qualitative changes in the draft resolution submitted by Britain, Germany and France. Grateful for the number of Russian comments. However, we conducted a comprehensive thorough analysis of the situation led to the conclusion that the adoption of any resolution of the SU on this issue will not bring a positive result. On the contrary, it is very likely that the situation is even more complicated," said the Ambassador, speaking on the results of the voting on the draft resolution.

Ulyanov also said one of the main principles of medical ethics - "do no harm", which, in his opinion, applicable to the work of the IAEA for warranty issues. "Implementation of the guarantees is intended to strengthen the nuclear nonproliferation regime, and not Vice versa," - said the diplomat.
