More than half of Russians trust the head of the CEC Pamfilova, the survey showed

More than half of Russians trust the Chairman of the CEC of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova, 36% of citizens believe the Central election Commission is the main authority responsible for observance of electoral rights, according to a survey by VTSIOM.

According to the survey, 51% of respondents in the different degrees of trust Pamfilova, 29% - rather do not trust or do, 10% don't know such policy, 9% were undecided. Also 43% more positive attitude to the head of the CEC, 19% - rather negative, 13% rather indifferent, 25% were undecided.

It is noted that 88% of respondents know about the existence of such a body as the CEC - most often people aged 45 to 59 years and from 60 years and older (93%), 12% never heard of him. While 36% of Russians believe the Central election Commission is the main body that ensures the observance of electoral rights, 33% believe that it plays an important role in ensuring the electoral rights of citizens along with other agencies, 21% - that it does not play a significant role in ensuring the electoral rights of citizens, 10% were undecided.

According to 75% of the citizens, the CEC rather good job with informing the Russians about the election, 74% appreciated the information about the polling date, 73% - informing about possible ways of voting, 71% - information about the organization of the elections, the locations of the plots.

The initiative Russian opinion "polls-Sputnik" held on 29 may and 15 June. In the survey participated 1.6 thousand of Russians aged 18 years. Survey method - telephone interviews in a stratified random sample of dibasic landline and mobile numbers. For a given sample size the maximum error with 95% probability does not exceed 2.5%.
