Israel partially closed districts with high levels of infection COVID-19
Areas of Rahat and Arara in the Negev declared restricted areas and in three districts of the suburbs of tel Aviv Jaffa, a ban on gatherings of more than 10 people and closed educational institutions according to the decision of the Committee of Ministers and the Ministry of health, announced the government's press service.
"Before recommending the Declaration of these areas as "restricted zones", the Ministry of health together with relevant agencies has taken various steps to reduce the incidence through advocacy, monitoring compliance with instructions and evacuation of the sick as possible. Currently, these measures are not enough to reduce the spread of disease," - said the press service of the government.
The decision takes effect at 8:00 Friday, June 19, and will run until 8:00 Wednesday, 26 June 2020.
In areas of limited access, the exit and entry will be allowed to work, and also for the exams for matriculation. In the three districts of Jaffa - Ajami, Hishon and Cahlon - will be closed educational institutions, except for the time of examinations for matriculation and prohibited gatherings of more than ten people.
On Thursday, the number of identified cases of infection with coronavirus in Israel reached 20 010. In the last week daily is registered about 200 new cases COVID-19.
