Poroshenko wept at a rally in Kiev, talking about your dead father

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, speaking at a rally near the courthouse in Kiev, where he on Thursday will elect a measure of restraint, wept on the words of his deceased father, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the press service of the party of former head of state "European solidarity" said that the father of ex-President Oleksiy Poroshenko was dead. According to Ukrainian media reports, he suffered a stroke. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine sent to court the petition for postponement of court sessions due to the fact that Poroshenko will not be able to be there in connection with the funeral of his father.

"I don't sleep days and nights. But not because I'm afraid of them... I spent the whole night near the tomb of his father," - said Poroshenko.

After his speech before the protesters, Poroshenko went to the courthouse to participate in the hearing.

In the state Bureau of investigations of Ukraine on 10 June reported that Poroshenko handed a written message saying that he was a suspect in a criminal case. The former President is suspected that he forced former head of foreign intelligence Service of Yegor God to appoint his Deputy Sergei Semochko, who held the position of head of the Kyiv Department of the security Service of Ukraine. Poroshenko and his lawyers claimed that refused to accept the suspicion that they have tried to give illegal. According to the office of the attorney General, the investigators are preparing a petition for the arrest of the former President.

In July 2018 Semochko, who held the position of head of the Kyiv Department of the security Service of Ukraine, was appointed first Deputy head of the foreign intelligence Service. Poroshenko in April 2019 fired Semochko.
