Trump has extended sanctions against North Korea

The US President Donald trump has extended for one year with effect from 2008 sanctions against North Korea, according to the text of the notice signed by trump, circulated Wednesday by the White house.

This mode, providing penalties, was announced by presidential decree on 26 June 2008.

In particular, these sanctions relate to the proliferation of nuclear materials and other actions of the DPRK, which, according to the US, violate the stability in the region.

The United States is negotiating with North Korea on denuclearization, but has repeatedly stated that they will not remove the sanctions until the nuclear disarmament of North Korea.
