The Embassy told the ballots for amendments in Estonia
Citizens of Russia residing in Estonia or in day of voting in the Baltic Republic will be able 1 July to vote for amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation at two sites in Tallinn and Narva, said on Wednesday the press service of the Russian Embassy in Estonia.
"In accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation "About the scheduling of the all-Russian voting on the question of approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation" the Russian Embassy informs about the organization on the territory of Estonia polling stations on address: Tallinn, Pikk street, 19 (the complex of buildings of the Embassy) and in Narva - in the Consulate General of Russia in the street Kirikou, 8", - stated in the message.
The Embassy notes that it is necessary to have a passport.
In case of loss of the passport allowed the presentation of the voter certificate on entry (return) into the Russian Federation, issued by the diplomatic mission or consular institutions of Russia in Estonia as a temporary document. If the citizen of the Russian Federation cannot take part in voting on 1 July, to carry out the will of the Tallinn and Narva in the period from 25 June to 30 June.
The Embassy warns that in connection with the continuing threat of the spread of the new coronavirus infection is recommended when voting to carry protection: medical mask, gloves and preferably a pen to fill the ballot. It would be necessary to observe sanitary-epidemiological rules.
A nationwide vote on the amendment in the Constitution was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July.
