In Ukraine extended quarantine of coronavirus

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the adaptive quarantine in the country until 31 July due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation with coronavirus, the restrictive measures each region will be able to strengthen on their own, said Wednesday the country's Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal.

The government of Ukraine from March 12 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 introduced a nationwide quarantine for a month, later it was prolonged several times. The Cabinet also decided to soften a number of restrictive measures on may 11. Shmigal said that after may 11, the local authority may resort to "adaptive quarantine," that is, in the case of aggravation of the infection in certain regions of the quarantine measures will grow there, and not across the country.

"Today, the government has extended the adaptive quarantine until July 31, since it is the most effective way to counter the spread of the coronavirus," - wrote in his Telegram Smigel channel.
