Putin urged Rosatom to ensure the security of data centers
Russian President Vladimir Putin urged Rosatom to ensure the safety in siting data centers in the territories of nuclear power plants.
During the working meeting, the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev informed the President that the company, together with Rostelecom has launched in the past year, the largest data processing center (DPC) in Europe. He noted that there is the idea of such centres to place on the territories of nuclear power plants.
"Of course, everything will be", - said Likhachev.
"Modes must be ensured. But in General you are absolutely right, they need to keep close. This significantly - we're on one of meetings said to be to facilitate their work, reduce their costs of energy", - concluded Putin.
