Russians in Abkhazia will be able to vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Embassy in Sukhum, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the guardian Denis Lavrikov.
"The vote will take place on 1 July from 8.00 to 20.00 o'clock in the premises of the consular Department of the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia", - said Lavrikov.
Embassy on the page in Facebook it is specified that in connection with the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection in the vote will be taken the necessary measures to protect the health of citizens.

A nationwide vote on the amendment in the Constitution was scheduled for 22 April, but then postponed due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country. Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the vote will take place on 1 July.
