Operator "Nord stream — 2" Denmark sent a new request through the courts
The operator of the project "2 Nord stream", Nord Stream AG 2, gave the Danish authorities the request for inclusion to the already obtained construction permit amendments involving the use of vessels with anchor positioning, told RIA Novosti press-service of the company.
"The company 2 the Nord Stream AG submitted a request for an amendment to the building permit as precautionary measures in accordance with the recommendations of the Danish energy Agency (DEA)", - said in the statement.
"2 Nord Stream AG implements the project in accordance with the building permit and assessment of environmental impact (EIA). The amendment is related to the possible use of vessels with anchor positioning, and is the explanation of only one of the permit conditions. This technology has already been successfully applied during the construction of the Danish land operated pipeline "Nord stream", and in the construction of gas pipeline "Nord stream 2" in the waters of Germany," - said the press service.
One of the ships that can complete the construction of the gas pipeline "Nord stream 2" is considered an anchor the barge "Fortuna" of the company MRTS with a 12-point positioning system.
