International humanitarian organization "Doctors without borders" (MSF) announced its decision to stop work at the hospital Dasht-e-barci in Kabul after the incident in may the attack on the maternity ward.

"This decision was made with the understanding that although there is no information about the attackers or the motives for the murder, mothers, infants and medical personnel were deliberately chosen objects of attack, and such attacks may be repeated in the future", - noted in the organization.

Earlier, Afghanistan has experienced two terrorist attacks, which killed dozens of people. A suicide bomber detonated at the entrance to the hospital in Kabul, after the hospital building was stormed by militants. Only the part of the medical staff had to leave the building. The attack on the hospital, 24 people were killed, at least 20 were injured.

Also the attack occurred at the funeral of chief of police of one of the districts of Nangarhar province.
