The CSTO PA Council will hold a meeting via videoconference
A meeting of the Council of the parliamentary Assembly of the organization of collective security Treaty (CSTO PA) will hold on Monday via videoconference: it is planned to consider the draft programme of rapprochement and harmonization of national legislation, the press service of the state Duma.
It is noted that "the agenda of the meeting is the consideration of the draft programme of activities of the parliamentary Assembly on the approximation and harmonization of national legislation of member States of the CSTO in the 2021-2025 years."
At the beginning of June on the website of the CSTO PA was reported that the meeting will discuss issues of security in a situation of a pandemic coronavirus, particular attention want be given to legislative proposals in order to develop comprehensive measures to ensure security in a pandemic.
CSTO PA in the message it was indicated that a meeting of the Council will be attended by the heads of parliamentary delegations of States-CSTO members - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, observers in the CSTO parliamentary representatives of the national Assembly of Serbia, the Wolesi Jirga (lower house of Afghan Parliament), Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, representatives of CSTO Secretariat and CSTO PA.
