The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine is ready to start talks with Lavrov
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that he is ready for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
Earlier, the head of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba during a joint press conference with foreign Minister of Germany Heiko Maas said that the work in the Normandy format (France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine) Donbas continues, the conversation at the level of foreign Ministers will be held in the near future.
"I am open for communication with Sergey Lavrov. If it helps to solve our problems and contributes to the de-occupation of Ukrainian territory, the liberation of the Ukrainian prisoners, I am ready to cooperate in any format," - said Kuleba in an interview with "UKRINFORM".
Also, the diplomat added that now there is a discussion of the date of the talks in the "Norman format" level of foreign Ministers.
Relations between Moscow and Kiev deteriorated on the background of the situation in the Donbass. Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly accused Russia of meddling in the internal Affairs of the country.
