In the U.S. Congress called for new sanctions against Eugene Prigogine

The head of Committee of the U.S. house of representatives on foreign Affairs Eliot Engel introduced on Friday a resolution that calls for tougher sanctions against Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, citing the fact that its structure allegedly continued to interfere in the internal Affairs of the United States.

At the end of March, the Hill newspaper reported that some members of this Committee asked the EU to impose sanctions against Prigogine. According to him, the congressmen wrote the head of the EU delegation in the United States Stavros Lambrinidis a letter in which he called for sanctions against Prigogine, allegedly for his "efforts to interfere in U.S. elections". It was noted that among the authors of the letter were both Democrats and Republicans.

Earlier, the Director of the company "the Concorde management and consulting" Evgenie Prigozhin has asked U.S. attorney General William Barr to resume the case against the "Concord" to give the company an opportunity to publicly prove his innocence.

The reason for this was that the court of Washington granted the request of prosecutors to close the case against "Concord Management", as well as against the affiliated company "Concord catering", which was accused of "meddling" in elections in the United States. Prosecutors unexpectedly offered to close the case just a few weeks before the anticipated process, stating that the provision of evidence in the case can only reveal the methods of American law enforcement to the defendant, but de facto will not help to attract Concord to real responsibility.

Spectacular USA Robert Mueller previously filed on 13 Russians and three companies from Russia charges under article "conspiracy against the United States" and "fraud". Of the individuals in the indictment were included Yevgeny Prigozhin, Michael Bystrov, Mikhail Burchik (also known as Mikhail Abramov), Alexander Krylov, Anna Bogacheva, Sergei Polozov, Maria Bouda, Robert Bowd, Jeyhun Aslanov, Vadim Podkopaev, Gleb Vasil, Irina Kaverina, Vladimir Wreaths. These same individuals were included in the sanctions the U.S. Treasury.

Muller for the past two years investigating assumptions about the "Russian interference" in the elections, which Moscow denies. Mueller has completed the investigation, confirming the charges of meddling in elections. However, he found no evidence of "collusion" between Donald trump and Russia, which denied both the Kremlin and the White house.
