The Federation Council did not rule out that Kiev is preparing a "zeroing" of the Minsk agreements
The statement by the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister about the "worthlessness" of the Minsk agreement suggests that in Kiev want to "zero out" arrangement, to accuse Russia and the Republic of Donbass unwillingness of the world, said RIA Novosti member of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Oleg Morozov.
On Friday Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories Alexey Reznikov said that the Minsk agreements are worthless from the international legal point of view, however, the Belarusian capital is to be used as a platform for the conflict settlement in the Donbass.
"Perhaps that is the idea of the Ukrainian strategists: to reset the Minsk and to accuse Russia and the Republic of Donbass unwillingness of the world. And save the conflict for many years, in order to beg the West to war and at anti-Russian actions", - said Morozov.
He noted that the Minsk process does not suit Kiev because he is the only real road to a peaceful settlement in the Donbass recognized by the international community.
"All the rest of quasidialogue coming from Kyiv are in deadlock. Without the war in the Donbass Kiev has sharply weakened negotiating position with Washington and Brussels. From all this rhetoric about the alleged international legal worthlessness of the Minsk process," the Senator said.
