Abkhazia has extended the closure of the border with Russia because of the situation with COVID-19 before July 1, the press service of the President of the Republic.
"Limit prior to July 1, 2020 to enter the Republic of Abkhazia through the checkpoints at the Abkhaz-Russian state border by the foreign citizens and persons without citizenship", - stated in the order.
Restrictions do not apply to employees of diplomatic institutions of foreign States accredited in Abkhazia, the soldiers of the border Department of the FSB of Russia in Abkhazia, the United Russian military base, drivers of vehicles engaged in international freight, drivers freight trains.
The total number of identified cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia is 37. The number of healed - 27. One patient at the age of 95 years died.
