Co-Chairman of the faction "European solidarity" Arthur Gerasimov at a briefing on Friday stated that unknown persons are engaged in illegal surveillance of the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The chief of the second Department of the state Bureau of investigation Vadim Primacom June 10, announced that investigators presented the ex-President of the country Poroshenko a written message that he became a suspect in one of criminal cases. As explained in the press service of the Ministry, Poroshenko is suspected that he forced the head of the foreign intelligence Service to appoint held the position of chief of the Kiev Department of security Service of Ukraine Sergey Semochko the Deputy head of the foreign intelligence Service. Poroshenko and his lawyers refused to accept the suspect and the lawyer of the former head of state Ilya Novikov believes that the attorney General's office illegally gave to his client the notice. According to the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the investigators are preparing a petition for the arrest of the former President.

However, he added that the party "European solidarity" requires the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to explain who is allowed to monitor Poroshenko. "We appeal to Zelensky... to answer, who is this illegal surveillance," said Gerasimov.
In July 2018 Semochko, who held the position of head of the Kyiv Department of the security Service of Ukraine, was appointed Poroshenko, first Deputy head of the foreign intelligence Service.
