"Vostochnaya Verf" early built piers for submarines of the Pacific fleet

"Eastern shipyard" in Vladivostok has fulfilled the government contract for the construction of floating berths for the Pacific fleet, said the company.

From 8 to 10 June on the territory of "Eastern shipyard" took place the acceptance testing, during which the Commission of the defense Ministry has verified the compliance of new semi-floating metal piers the requirements of the contract.

These piers allow for simultaneous Parking of two submarines or two surface ships with a displacement of not more than 5 thousand tons, the supply from shore to the ships water and electricity, telephony ships with the shore, manufacture of loading and unloading operations on the entire length of the pier with the use of rubber-tired and crawler cranes.

At the moment the shipyards are six orders for the FSB and the Russian Navy. This year the company plans to complete the construction of the quay and anti-sabotage boats, to lay two new small missile boats.

In addition, over the past year, was founded five ships fishermen under the presidential program "quotas in exchange for investments".
