The Minister of education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov said he was ready to discuss anchoring in law the status of a teacher if something needs to change in legislation, it will be done.
"The consolidation of the status of the law, let's discuss... I'm prepared separately to conduct such a discussion on this issue, a very important question, serious, if something needs to be corrected in the legislation, then of course we'll do it," said Kravtsov on the online press-conference, answering the question whether by law, further secured the rights of teachers in the performance of their job duties.
He noted that from a teacher depends largely on the quality of education and status of teachers needs to be very high.
Earlier it was reported that "United Russia" is engaged in the development of the bill, together with the "teacher's newspaper", which aims to consolidate at the legislative level, "the high status of teachers".
