The authorities of Leningrad region has taken a number of measures to support small and medium business in the conditions of a pandemic coronavirus infection, said the Governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko Russian President Vladimir Putin via video link during the meeting.
"For us it was important to support the economy, especially small and medium-sized businesses. We took two packages of support measures. The first package we received March 20. Of the most important support measures is a reduction in the rate of unified tax on imputed income, simplified tax from 6% to 1% was released from the municipal government rent and increased the amount of subsidies up to 95% at the expense of the regional budget", - said Drozdenko.
"When we adopted the second package of benefits on April 3, we gave the benefit of the property tax to landlords, which lowered rents for small and medium-sized businesses. These landlords received the benefit of the property tax within 5 years," the Governor added.
He noted that according to the rating Commissioner of the President of the Russian Federation on protection of entrepreneurs ' rights, compiled in may, Leningrad oblast took 2nd place on selected measures to support entrepreneurs among the regions of the Russian Federation.
