Patrushev explained why we need government support "social" NGOs
State support of socially-oriented Russian NGOs should be strengthened with the aim of countering the West's attempts to arrange a "color revolution" in Russia, said the Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev.
In an interview with the newspaper "Arguments and facts" he told about the methods the West uses to destabilize the socio-political situation in Russia, and about how to resist the attempts of the organization of the Pro-Western forces of revolution in Russia.
According to Patrushev, in particular, "it is necessary to take additional measures on increase of efficiency of interdepartmental interaction in neutralizing threats to national security associated with the inspiration of Western countries of "color revolutions".
"It is important to provide effective laws aimed at sustainable functioning of the political system, and changes made including the anti-extremist legislation. It should also strengthen state support of socially oriented non-profit Russian organizations", - said the Secretary of the security Council.
