Finland reopened its Embassy in Iraq
Finland resumed its diplomatic mission in Baghdad, whose work was interrupted on March 17 because of the situation with coronavirus, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Finland.
"The Embassy of Finland in Baghdad resumed on 9 June. In connection with the General situation of security in the country, the Ministry of foreign Affairs for many years recommends to avoid all travel to Iraq. Recommendation remains in force. The situation with coronavirus in Iraq is also difficult," - said in the message.
During the epidemic of the coronavirus Finland has suspended the work of the two embassies. In addition to Baghdad, was suspended diplomatic mission in Yangon, Myanmar, reported the foreign Ministry on March 29.
Finland has offices in 171 country of the world. On the territory of the CIS embassies in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, consulates in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Bureau in Belarus.
