Ukraine has received from China a new batch of humanitarian aid to combat coronavirus in the form of test-systems and medical masks, said Tuesday the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of foreign Affairs.

"In Ukraine there arrived the next consignment of humanitarian aid from the government of the people's Republic of China with a wide range of medical products", - stated in the message.

According to the press service, the humanitarian aid includes more than 50 thousand of test systems for the diagnosis of coronavirus, 50 thousand of medical masks, 30 thousand pairs of safety glasses, a thousand non-contact thermometers 200 thousand medical surgical masks, 30 thousand protective suits and 50 thousand of disposable medical gloves. Getting help was the result of close contacts between Ukraine and China at the highest levels, added the Minister.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba noted that the timely and extensive assistance from the government of China contributes greatly to the maintenance of the country's efforts in combating the spread of COVID-19. "Given this, the leadership and the Ukrainian people sincerely thank the Chinese side for its assistance and full support to the efforts of the Ukrainian state in tackling coronavirus infection", - the press service quoted the words of the Kuleba.
