Russia and Turkey reached agreement on the supply of the second set of s-400

Russia and Turkey agreed in principle to supply a second set of air defense systems s-400, said the head of the Secretariat of defense industry Ismail Demir.

Russia fulfilled in 2019, the first contract for the supply of Turkey's four battalions of s-400 in the amount of $ 2.5 billion. The contract includes also an option for another regimental kit.

According to him, Turkey intends to put into operation the s-400 despite the delay due to pandemic coronavirus.

Deliveries of the newest Russian air defense systems s-400, which caused a crisis in Turkey's relations with the United States, began in mid-July 2019.
