Rescuers after a spill of diesel fuel at TPP-3 in Norilsk collected from waters almost 2.8 thousand cubic meters of oil-water mixture, told reporters the first Deputy head EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan.
According to him, all collected disposed of in special containers. They are available in sufficient quantity. He noted that rescuers first used aircraft in the transfer of containers. It's a new technology, and it simplifies operations because the group has to constantly monitor fuel spot and moved behind him.
According to the Chupriyan, the disposal containers will be the second or third stage of the operation and not in the near future.
One of the tanks storing diesel fuel at TPP-3 (owned by JSC "NTEK", a member of the group Norilsk Nickel) Norilsk may 29 was damaged in a result of the rapid subsidence of the supports of the Foundation, a leak occurred about 21 thousand cubic meters of fuel.
