Deputy of the Moscow city Duma Elena Shuvalov was expelled from the Communist party, it can contest the decision, told RIA Novosti the Deputy Gordumy, a member of the Communist party Leonid Zyuganov.
"Yes, indeed so. I can say that the majority of votes she was eliminated, 10 people against, two abstentions. She has the opportunity to appeal, make a decision on the comments that it was, and recognize them. We do not exclude that over time, it can be restored," - said Zyuganov.
In November last year, Zyuganov told the news Agency that several deputies of the Communist party planned to call to the personnel Commission after negative statements and insults against the leadership of the party. Later Shuvalov told RIA Novosti that left the Moscow branch of the Communist party, but remains in the Moscow city Duma.
In the Moscow city Duma on 29 November was held a round table on the topic "Confiscation without conviction. The sophistication of methods of struggle with unwanted", which was supposed to lead Shuvalov. The night before, the head of the Communist party faction in the Moscow city Duma Nikolai Zubrilin withdrew a bid to host a round table for no reason, but Shuvalov held a meeting in his office. A number of Communist deputies were present at the meeting, he spoke negatively and insulted the leadership of the faction, and urged to remove Zubrilina as head of the faction.
