All-Russian youth Symphony orchestra under the baton of Yuri Bashmet will perform at the Mamaev Kurgan in day of the Victory parade on 24 June, told RIA Novosti the administration of the Volgograd region.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that postponed due to coronavirus parade in Moscow, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war, will be held June 24. Later in the PUBLICATION reported that within the County on this day military parades will be held in 10 cities, including Volgograd.
The concert originally was scheduled for may 8, but was cancelled due to introduced in the region of mode isolation.
"An orchestra with Bashmet will perform on 24th of June", - told RIA Novosti the administration.
The Director of the Russian concert Agency Dmitry Grinchenko RIA Novosti has confirmed this information, saying that the concert will be attended by about 80 members from 10 to 22 years from different cities of Russia, including Volgograd. "It will be a very big concert with participation of the national youth orchestra of Yuri Bashmet, classical musicians, leading Russian actors who will perform songs of the war years. Will be prepared a special program," - said Grinchenko.
According to him, on the Mamaev Kurgan began to build the scenery, there will be projection screens, in addition, it is planned to conduct 3D-mapping show – video installation on the monument "the Motherland calls!".
