Trump has expressed gratitude to Iran for release of American by Michael white

The President of the United States Donald trump expressed his gratitude to the Iranian authorities for the release of veteran of the US Navy Michael white.

"It's great that Michael is home. Just arrived. Very exciting. Thanks To Iran. Don't wait until after the election in the United States to conclude a large transaction. I'm going to win. You will make the best deal now!" - trump wrote on Twitter.

Previously, white had contracted the coronavirus in the Iranian prison, and was paroled at the Swiss Embassy in Tehran, and then was taken to the hospital. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for violation of laws on private information and insulting Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

White was released the next day after the U.S. released Iranian scientist Sirus Asgari, who was arrested in the US in 2017 for charges of violating us sanctions against Iran. Despite the fact that the court in the US met Asgari, his still held in immigration jail under the pretext that his visa had expired during the process, and Asgari allegedly turned out to be an illegal migrant in the United States.
