The Polish Parliament passed a vote of confidence in the government

The lower chamber of the Polish Parliament (Saeima) expressed their confidence in the health Minister of the country Lukas Chukovskomu, and thus the whole government, the correspondent of RIA Novosti.

For the vote of confidence in the government voted 235 deputies of the Saeima - 100% of the representatives of the ruling party "law and justice", 219 voted against and two abstained.

Earlier, the opposition initiated a vote of censure of the Minister of health, accusing him of various shortcomings in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus.

In response, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mateusz Morawiecki appealed to the Sejm for a vote of confidence to the entire Cabinet.

For the vote of confidence to the Cabinet of Ministers voted the majority of deputies of the Sejm. It was quite predictable, as the ruling party "law and justice" has 235 parliamentary portfolio from 460.

"The reality is that we come out of the deep crisis, at least 30 years. Let us act, do not disturb," - said Morawiecki, referring to the opposition from the podium of the Sejm.

He noted that the decision to appeal to Parliament for a vote of confidence was approved by President Andrzej Duda. "Mr. President has offered to stop this festival of scandals, you are trying to make. If you have enough votes to send us to resign. Or cease to wriggle," said he, turning to the opposition.
